Role of Collector: deliver an appeal envelope to each house in your designated road and, a few days later, call to collect them and hand them over to the Area Organiser. It sometimes takes two or three visits to gather the majority of the envelopes but the Appeal takes place over five weeks from early December so there is plenty of time.
Role of Area Organiser: maintain a list of existing collectors, distribute to and collect back the Appeal envelopes from your collectors and then hand the sealed envelopes over to the Appeal Organiser. Later distribute ‘thank you’ letters to your collectors.
