Arts on Prescription at Harpenden Public Library

Did you catch the 'Arts on Prescription' art display on the walls of the Harpenden Public Library last month? Arts on Prescription is funded by the Harpenden Trust and hosted by the Eric Morecambe Centre (EMC); facilitated by an art therapist it supports positive wellbeing for local people as part of the Trust's Wellbeing hub partnership with Harpenden Health PCN.

One participant Sadie (pictured) is recovering from a brain injury; the class helped her recover motor skills in her right hand and was a great support during her sick leave from work.

Harpenden Trust Community Fund contributes to High Beeches Primary School for Outdoor Canopy

The Harpenden Trust Community Fund has been delighted to contribute towards the construction of an outside canopy for High Beeches Primary School that allows pupils to use both for learning and leisure purposes acting as protection against rainy weather and very hot sunshine.
