Harpenden Trust Family Outing to Gullivers Land

It was a nice sunny morning last week when 14 families set off by coach on the Harpenden Trust family outing bound for Gullivers Land in Milton Keynes. Everyone enjoyed the various rides, although some were more daring than others! Gullivers Land is not a big place and although some of the queues were rather long it was easy to navigate the park - they only lost one mother! All guests were treated to ice creams at the end of the afternoon which was a nice way to round off the day and get everyone together. The coach was very quiet on the way home as everyone was ready for a rest by then. A great day out and much appreciated by everyone - Adam (age 10) told us "That was probably the funnest day out I have ever had!”

We just want to say a huge well done to the 17th Harpenden Brownies! They meet at our Trust Halls and recently took part in a 'reverse advent calendar challenge' - collecting hygiene products for the Kings Pantry Foodbank. Busy Bees Nursery - Food Donation to the Harpenden Trust

Every year, Harpenden Trust collects food items and gives them to our most vulnerable residents living in Harpenden to help them with the cost of Christmas. On Tuesday, 10th December, the Grove Junior School choir visited the Harpenden Trust Centre at 90 Southdown Road, to sing carols for our guests at the Seniors Coffee Morning. We host the Seniors Coffee Morning there every Tuesday 10-11am and all seniors are very welcome to join us.
