When a guest at the Harpenden Trust tea party found out that our volunteer Yvonne was in a choir, they were quick to snap her up and get her to gather a group of willing singers to join them at Homedell House, the retirement complex in Roundwood. The Harpenden Trust Community Fund have recently contributed to the cost of the redecoration of the main hall at Batford Methodist Church which is used by a variety of community groups. Charles Pocock a member of the Community Fund committee was delighted to present the Harpenden Trust plaque at a senior residents coffee morning this week to Peter North the Property Steward and Deacon Sarah Wickett who are very appreciative of the help received from the Community Fund.

Over 100 people, including some children and Harpenden Trust clients, were treated to a wonderful concert performed by the HCO on Saturday 14th September at St Nicholas Church, Harpenden. All proceeds from the evening, amounting to an amazing £1325, were donated to the Harpenden Trust.
