Ribbon Cancer Support Group (RCSG): a support group for people who are registered with a GP in Harpenden and have had a cancer diagnosis. The group runs on Wednesday afternoons at the Trust Halls, 130a Southdown Road (above the Co-op), 1.30 pm to 3.00 pm. The group provides a safe space where people can meet and connect with other people who share similar experiences. Whether you want to come and tell your story, have a friendly chat or just listen, we are there to help support you. We regularly invite guest speakers to talk on topics such as healthy eating, exercise, relaxation and meditation. We also have group discussions about cancer related issues. Harpenden Trust 2024 Annual General Meeting - Chairman’s Opening Remarks

The Harpenden Trust AGM took place on Tuesday 17th October. The evening was very well attended by both Harpenden Trust members and volunteers, and a number of guests from our local community, including many of our partnership organisations. We were also honoured to have Pip Liver, the Town Mayor, and Victoria Collins, MP for Harpenden and Berkhamstead, address the meeting.

Harpenden Trust Library Volunteer Team - reach 100 weeks!

Harpenden Trust Volunteers involved in the project which enables Harpenden Library to stay open on Wednesday afternoons had a celebration tea party last week. The project has run for over 100 weeks and in that time clocked up over 1000 volunteering hours! The Manager of Harpenden Library joined the tea party and expressed his sincere thanks to the team.
